What if I don’t have a PayPal e-mail?
Beeyonder pays its guides via PayPal or Wise using the e-mail address associated with the account. You can sign up for a free business account at paypal.com. If you cannot use either of these platform please reach out to your contact at Beeyonder.
What is Beeyonder's commission?
Beeyonder takes a 20% commission off of tours booked through the platform. The remaining 80% gets paid out directly to the guide less any applicable PayPal fees(1-2%).
What if I don’t see a topic area that applies to my tour?
If you don’t believe that any topic areas currently listed apply to your tour, please e-mail hello@beeyonder.com and tell us about your tour so that we can either recommend a current topic area, or add a new one to our list.
I speak English fluently but my writing skills are not great; can Beeyonder help me write my tour page?
Absolutely. Please contact us at hello@beeyonder.com and we will work with you to write your tour page.
I don’t have high resolution pictures to put on my page, can Beeyonder help?
Your banner image is one of the most important elements of your tour page because it draws in the customer when searching for tours. Beeyonder has access to high resolution images that we can assist you with, if needed.
How do I delete a tour?
For technical reasons, Beeyonder does not allow guides to delete tours at this time. If you would like to delete a tour, please e-mail hello@beeyonder.com to request this.
Why doesn’t availability or messaging show up when I look at other tour pages?
Guides are not allowed to purchase tours or send other guides messages. If you would like to see how these look to a customer, please create a customer account with a separate e-mail address. You can also see how they look by logging out of your account.
How do I send guests the passcode or audio information since there is only a slot for a link?
Once a guest books a tour, a message guests button will appear. You can send them this information through our messaging application.
Why isn’t my tour listed on the homepage?
Beeyonder has a lot of wonderful tours that have been posted by our guides. We aim to rotate trending tours, popular countries, and the featured country every 2 weeks or so.
How do people post reviews?
Once a tour takes place, the guests will get an e-mail prompting them to post a review. All reviews are approved by The Beeyonder Team before being posted.
Where do I tell people to go if they want to see only the tours that I offer?
Once you list a tour, if you pull up the tour page, and click your company name at the top of the page in grey, it will bring you to your personal page with all of your tours. You can use this link as needed to direct people to your page to view only your tours.
I want to give my tour more visibility, can I pay extra to be on the home page?
Beeyonder will be adding a “Highlights” section on the home page (looking similar to Trending Tours) in late December, early January that will host sponsored tours. Pricing and the length of the listing is TBD. If you are interested, please contact us at hello@beeyonder.com with the subject line “Sponsored Tours”, and we will be in touch shortly thereafter.
Do I get paid less if someone uses a promo code or gift card?
No. You will get paid for the amount you list on your tour page minus the normal fees as provided in Beeyonder’s Terms of Service.
Can I also sign up as a customer?
Yes. We recommend signing up as a customer so that you can see what a customer sees. You can also purchase tours as a customer. Please use a different or personal e-mail address for this.
